My favorite bowl of ramen in LA. The broth is fantastic. Rich and flavorful. Even on a hot day, it was just what I needed. I asked for the kettori which adds extra fat and flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked, firm. The place is small but cozy. Definitely will be back

Great place to satiate that late night craving! Decent portion sizes and good prices. And the food itself is amazing! Very cozy atmosphere, and great aesthetics.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. And don't let the zip code fool you either.

It’s ramen itself was pretty good but I still feel it is a mediocre taste. I don’t see anything special. The service was ok. Free parking in construction.

The customer service is consistently speedy, fantastic atmosphere, very welcoming employees. I will eat here again when I arrive in town.

It’s a cute small place . The spicy meso ramen was good. Not that spicy actually. The marinated/seasoned egg was the highlight of the ramen.

Literally love this place. We suggest putting your name on the waiting list via Yelp during lunch time as the wait can be close to 30 minutes or so. The place is really cozy. Food is great. 10/10 would eat here again.

The service is great but the ramen is totally overrated. The soup has floating pork fat and is not very tasty. The pork is covered in 80% fat too. Sorry, it just isn’t as good as other ramen places. I was disappointed!

Amazing service. Impeccable ramen. Wonderful decor. Tiny place for like 25 people on a busy street of LA. Worth it every time.

Amazing ramen. I was a little freaked out with the white chunks in the bowl. Also, not many vegetarian options. It was pretty crowded so seating took a while to get. Our waitress was so attentive and so we didn't mind the wait. But the flavor of the ramen was BOMB.

Such amazing food! Wonderful staff and impressive atmosphere. I never thought this restaurant would be awesome for our dinner date with my wife. I will never look for other restaurants again for sure. I will be a loyal customer forever. A five-stars satisfaction rating all the way for these restaurants good assistance.

Good Ramen, but I really enjoyed the "shiso age" spicy tuna wrapped in leave and tempora.

Delicious ramen, very authentic interior (not much space, very intimate feel), they are open late and the service is stellar. Totally awesome experience from any perspective.

The interior is super cute, it’s little Tokyo themed but as if it were the streets themselves in a smaller scale. The food is good, the service is great. We had to wait in a line for like five minutes, but during the evenings- dinner time, it gets packed. Below is the California roll, vegan gluten free ramen, chicken kimchi, and chicken teriyaki. The chicken dishes were very good according to my friend, the California roll was delicious, the ramen was a bit of a miss for me, it could be because I had gluten free noodles though, so I would suggest trying it the normal way. The service is really good but I find the food to be mediocre, and mostly it’s really hard to get seated due to the lines.

Ramen broth taste good, not salty, would be better if thicker. Ramen is good too, would’ve be even better if just a little softer. The environment is pretty awesome, feel like sitting inside a Japanese small alley. Service is good, quick and feel warm. Recommend.

It's five stars by American standards but not the best ramen I've had, even within California. That said, it's probably the best ramen in this area and not a bad option at all.

DELICIOUS VEGAN RAMEN!!!! This is definitely one of my favorite ramen places in LA. This place is so cozy and delicious. The inside is decorated and creates a very fun ramen experience. If you want to sit inside, you should join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time. The Yelp waitlist works really well, so definitely take advantage of that service. The food is great for take out or delivery. Every time I have ordered it has come hot and ready to eat. If you are vegetarian not vegan, I recommend getting the Spicy Vegan Ramen with a soft boiled egg. It is the perfect add to the ramen. The fried rice and edamame are also great additions to the meal. This place will not disappoint!!! Enjoy :)

This place beings nostalgia to my college days. This place is the reason I always get soft egg with my ramen. Extra egg in your spicy miso is THE BEST! Highly recommend. If you've never been here the inside looks amazing, like you're in Japan. The place is small tho so it can get crowded and packed. On the upside, the service is quick. Make sure you checkin on Yelp to get on the waitlist before you get here. I suggest this location of Daiko more than others because the parking here is so convenient since it's in a structure.Always a pleasure, and glad to be back!

Sign in sheet next to the door (wait can be long depending on when you go). Small and cramped but it's worth the wait. The aesthetics of the place is very interesting, making into a local sitting area in an alley in Japan. My husband and I both got combos (a bit much for us but we took the rice to go - extra meal for us 😎). The eggs in the ramen were PERFECT, think that was the best part for me. I'm not usually a fan of ramen since I got sick once from it but this place was very decent, quality, quantity and price-wise (a bit pricey imo but that's why we chose the combo).

Me and the wife came to West Hollywood for some ramen. Honestly. Tokyo #1 Waikiki and Daikokuya tied for #2.Staff friendly. Small intimate and delicious. Great quality and great price. Thanks guys 👍🏽🤘🏽🍻

Parking is nightmarish. But it's worth the struggle for this food! The interior is designed like a Japanese ramen stall that you'd find on the street complete with a little power pole and shop front. Good is good portions are huge. Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy it is.

I love how authentic the place and food felt. I’ve never been to Japan so I can’t say what authentic a 100% is, but this felt and tasted pretty close. Service was great, however my friend and I had to wait over 30 minutes to get a seat. After that our orders didn’t take forever to be prepared. Cool place to grab a bite.

Best Japanese ramen place in Los Angeles. No questions ask. Only the down side of the restaurant is the wait time. This place can only hold about 20 people inside. So the wait time for me was 30min plus.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We waitlisted via yelp and were told we were next in line (number 2 on the waitlist). So we stood and we waited. We checked in with the hostess but they sat 2-3 other 2 person parties first. Then we asked again while we were still standing there and got seated. They were very disorganized and it ruined the experience.

Food is delicious here, and the serving sizes are quite large. We ordered ramen, fried rice, and tsukemen. The broth was a little saltier than I would have liked but overall still amazing! Service was fast and we didn’t have to wait long. I love this place and will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Los Angeles😊

Leave the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles behind and enter the alley ways of Tokyo. If you don't check in on Yelp, be ready to wait for at least hour and a half for a table. The prices are moderate, the portions are big and the taste is awesome.

Still my favorite ramen place in southern California and I've been to quite a few of them! Basic Daikokuya ramen is great as are their rice dishes.
